i can saw my lappy fan very dirty, but hard to take out and clean… just can use blower to blow it

Wow, I’ve seen and serviced a lot of computers but I have yet to see a processor being stucked at the heat sink yet

Wah, clean with water? Must really make sure it is dry before installing it back.

Yeah, the before and after photos show a lot of difference. Actually, sometimes it gets noisier than before I clean it especially when the processor heats up. That is because previously, the fan can spin maximum 2,700rpm only. After I cleaned the fan, it can reach up to 3,700rpm or more thus louder. When that happens, I’ll just switch on the table fan and the CPU fan will slow down.

bravo. the before-after pic for the heatsink fan really is wow. probably shud do it more often then to prolong the lifespan of the processor. no need so noisy liao now. cool (pun intended)

I do the cleaning work at least once per year, for the heatsink I clean it with water
