@Jason
They did explain why Singaporeans were charged more. This include different method of payment.

@Entrepreneur
I totally agree that the competition between them has contributed to their growth. I agree that healthy competition is necessary as well. However, I was pointing out the unethical tactics used in competing. "Ethics" is subjective. It could be unethical to me yet totally okay to you. To me, one of the companies has shown ethics worthy of crap many times in the past.

No one said they should hold hand in hand. But hitting your opponent under the belt is plain BS. Josh took the opportunity where Nuffnang slipped (charging their publishers) is okay to me. However, if the masked zorro is back, that is "hitting under the belt"...again.

@Tokyo_Nights
No prob. I didn't try that before. LOL. From a programmer's point of view, their system is a joke.

Thanks for linking the posts up, I've got another bug posted up on my blog. Did you know that you can sign up to Advertlets with garbage as your e-mail address? Yeah..type in anything, it doesn't have to be a well-formed e-mail address (e.g. xxx without @xxx.com) and you'll get through it.

I think all the ruckus has actually been good for both companies as it raised both their profiles a tremendous amount in the blogging community. People who previously didn't know about them, now do. They also got to strut their stuff and improve in the process.

Friction should be welcomed instead of constantly being pushed aside as something "unhealthy" for the industry. Growing PAINS are not called growing pains because they're easy and comfortable. Pain is part of the process towards growth.

I don't know why people keep thinking that friendliness is the way to go when it comes to business. There is nothing wrong at all with a little healthy competition and if it gets a bit rough, we all get to show our mettle.

And they even dare to say that we are charged RM1, which is equivalent to only SGD0.50, and why are they being over charged SGD1.

Hilarious.
