I Just Requested For My First Nuffnang Check

After putting up Nuffnang banners in both my blogs for a few months, I am now able to request for a check. Let’s see if Nuffnang really pays cash, eh? ;-) It is not much but will still contribute to my Nikon D40x fund. Yipeee!

First time requesting a check from Nuffnang

I am now starting to enjoy the efforts that I put into blogging. Checks are coming in. PayPal is getting fatter. The only problem would be to cash out from PayPal. My sister is studying in NZ now, so I think I will be cashing out through her. After analyzing all my options, I think this is the safest, fastest and cheapest way for me to cash it out. I am still looking into the E*Trade option though but that won’t be anytime soon.

arr they pay by cheque :O my experience is that since it’s a HSBC cheque, it takes a few days for it to be cleared. more than 3 days, but maybe it’s just a problem with my bank

Thanks for sharing. I don’t mind if it takes a little longer to clear, as long as it clears. hehe.

FYI, i once emailed paypal, to ask them whether i can transfer my paypal balance to a US account which doesn’t belongs to me. According to them, we should not do that, some banks will double check on the name on paypal and on the bank accounts. If they rejected becos different name, we will be charged, from both bank & paypal.

Well, of cos i still see a lot of ppl transfering to other ppl’s account without any problem..

Oh, I didn’t know people are transferring to other’s bank accounts. Why don’t they just transfer to their friend’s paypal and then from their paypal to the bank account? Will that cause a problem?

i guess becos they wanna save $$? hehe.. cos when u transfer to ur friend’s paypal, let’s say u transferring $100 to ur friend’s paypal account, the actual amount ur friend received will be $100 - $2.92 (paypal charged the seller). so if they straight away transferred to their friend’s account, there won’t be any charges.

Hmmm…I thought there are no charges if you transfer from PayPal to PayPal? That is for personal accounts lah. If upgrade to sellers account then maybe got charge. Not too sure about this.
