All 3 Nuffnang Evil Quadruplets Repented

Barely 24 hours after exposing the Nuffnang’s evil quadruplets, all 3 of them have repented. Now that nAffnAng.com, nUffnUng.com and nAffnUng.com have seen the light, they truly know that Nuffnang.com is where they belong.

Let’s hope that the devil doesn’t pray pray anymore.

I guess it’s true that nothing taste better than free lunch.

Now, where the hell is my food?

    And some ppl were saying we should be staying out of the “feud” ? Hellooo?

    Underestimating their “platform” for adverts in the form of bloggers is wrong…very naughty..

    This serves a notice that we do can make a difference than keeping quiet..

    This , Kelwin, you hit jackpot big time.

    So whoever controlled these domains now point them at Nuffnang instead? Heh. Nice one brother!

    Advertlets probably thought that “.com” addresses are cheap anyway, so might as well buy them up and get some accidental traffic. Not exactly the way for an ethical company to behave. I mean, we don’t see HP buying variations of Dell.com to point back at themselves.

    Then again, it could be some sympathisers who thought that doing this would help Advertlets? Hmm.

    Whichever case it may be, they sure have kept us entertained.

    Yeah. If we see some monkey business, just write it up. Things will take care of itself in the end. Better do something than nothing at all. Hey, if I hit the jackpot, where’s my cash prize? Hahaha.

    @mooiness
    Yes, they changed it from (pointing to) Advertlets to Nuffnang. I doubt big companies like dell, hp, or even our local telcos will do nonsense like that. Like I said, if they did, it’s very cheap. Definitely a negative impact on their image.

    Wahhh…the pink bag only meh? Confirm you hiding something already lah! Why else you get a mp3 player? You better tell. Hahaha.

    hmm.. this sounds really fishy…

    If advertlets really did register all those bogus domains just to get some accidental traffic, then its a real shame coz there goes all their credibility….

    but then again…

    i really cannot believe anyone would be so stupid to a thing like that.. coz the immediate probable culprits would definently point to them… and there definently are better ways to conceal your path…

    but perhaps again… the beauty of such a stupid stunt would be that its pure stupidity… no one would believe anyone would be stupid enough to pull such a stupid stunt….

    hmm…

  6. Dave Lu says:

    hehe…

    i’m only saying… “maybe”.

    But its interesting to note that advertlets registered

    advertlets.com, advertlet.com & advertlets.com.my…..
    and they are all pointed to….*no prizes for correct ans* ;)

    interesting observation? maybe? maybe not?

    hmm…

    @Freethinker
    You see! I know you sure hiding something one. Hahhaha.

    @Dave Lu
    Yeah, IF they did do it, I think you summed it up pretty well — stupid. They might have bought more than that. adverlets.com is another one. All this monkey business reminded me of the guiness domain feud.

    kelwin, earlier i do advertlets review on behalf of my friend at his blog, i found out that they do register adverlets.com and redirect to their own site. but i didn’t expect there’s evil quadruplets of nuffnang.

    anyway, kelwin u always get to digg out those monkey business and hidden bug, LOL ~ gratz

    I also didn’t know about the evil siblings until nyx pointed it out. There could be other things that others know but do not want to blog about. I’m not sure. Let’s see if there is anything else to be found.

  10. nyx says:

    wah .. good that you managed to force advertlets into behaving. I’m too much of a tech noob… didn’t really understand your previous post but glad to see the quadruplets all pointing to the rightful site. :)

  11. TenthOfMarch says:

    @nyx
    Really? I think I should refine the way I write then. Well, we can’t say for certain it’s done by Advertlets, but who else so “wu liao”? It can’t be Nuffnang because why would they want to send traffic to their competitor? Unless it’s some “third party” who is trying to help/harm Advertlets. I don’t know.

    The evil siblings have repented now. Let’s see if they return to the dark side.

    I usually subscribe to others’ RSS feeds too. Whenever there’s an update, I’ll click on the link and visit the blog. Thank you for dropping by as well. :-)
